What is the difference between domain registrar transfer and DNS update ?

If you registered your domain with another registrar and would like to use MisterCertified for your web
hosting you have two options:

You can either transfer your domain name to MisterCertified registrar ENOM
(enom.com) ,or simply point your domain to our nameservers provided in
your welcome e-mail.

Option 1:

If you would like to transfer your domain to MisterCertified than (ENOM),
company will be your new registrar, and the domain will
automatically get re-pointed to our default nameservers.

This "Domain Registrar Transfer" costs around $18.99 with one year extension from
domain expiry date and this process may take upto a week depending
on your current registrar.

You can order "Domain Registrar Transfer" for your domain from
https://my.mistercertified.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer

Option 2:
If you prefer to stay with your current registrar, you'll need to get
your domain pointed to our nameservers as per name servers
we usually provide in your welcome email.

There won't be any charges for updating domain with any registrar.

Please contact your domain registrar for Name Servers update.

Thank you,
