How do I add or remove the "Registrar Lock" from my domain?

  • Login to your eNom or domain management account, Choose menu option DOMAINS and then my domains Click on the domain name you wish to modify. This will take you to the Domain Name Control Panel, a page that allows you to edit all settings for this particular domain. Scroll down to the UTILITIES section, click on » Set Auto-Renew/Registrar-Lock Options for Domain Names and Services. Add or remove the check from the check box and then click the save changes button.
  • Please allow approximately 24 hours for the status to update through the global registry. You can check domain status at http://registrar.verisign-grs.com/whois/ and conducting a whois search for your domain.

NOTE:  If you do not have a direct eNom account, please contact your reseller to have the lock removed.  If you do not know the name of your reseller, go to our "help" page and enter your domain name in the Reseller Information Retrieval Tool:
